Sirmu Srl treats all the users’ personal data in the full respect of the Italian privacy policy D. Lgs. N. 196/2003
(named “Privacy Code”).

Nature of the data processed - We treat personal data like identity data, addresses, phones, e-mail and fax numbers necessary to develop the relationship with the users subscribed to the portal. Usually we do not treat any data qualified as sensitive or of judicial nature pursuant to art. 4, comma 1, of D. Lgs. N. 196/2003. In case it would be necessary to treat these kind of data we would previously ask for the user’s consent.

Purpose of processing - The data of the users subscribed to the portal are treated to perform the services they require.
The data inserted may be used by Sirmu srl also to send periodical e-mails concerning advertising, promotional material, internal announcements, promotional initiatives, commercial news. Moreover they could be used for an effective management of the financial, commercial and administrative data. The data will be treated for the whole duration of the relationship and afterwards as well, to perform the duties arising from law and commercial and administrative purposes.

Methods of processing - The data processing is performed through instruments and procedures suitable to ensure its safety and privacy and may be performed both through paper format or electronic instruments.

Obligation or right to give the details and consequences of refusal - Concerning the data we are obliged to know, in order to perform the obligations deriving for law, rules and community legislation, that is dispositions by Authorities having right deriving for law or Authorities of supervision and control, the failure to provide these data from the user may cause the impossibility to start or continuing the relationship, if those data are necessary for it. Concerning the data we are not obliged to know, this lack of information will be evaluated by us from time to time, and will determine the subsequent decisions according to the importance of the data we requested you and did not get.

Communication and dissemination - The data we collect on this portal are not "spread" by us to undetermined persons in any way. The user’s personal data may be "communicated" by us, that is we acknowledge one or more determined person and more precisely: to persons in charged, inside our structure, to treat the data; persons that need to access to the data for provision of law, or community legislation, in the limits provided by law; to persons that need to access to the data for relationship purposes, as per limits strictly necessary to the accomplishment of their duties (ex. Forwarders); to our advisors, as per limits strictly necessary to perform their duty, though our letter of appointment that imposes the confidentiality and safety of the data processing.

User’s rights - Here is an extract of the art. 7 of the D. Lgs. N. 196/2003, to remind that the user can exercise its rights towards us and namely: obtain the confirmation of the existence of the personal data about him, even if not yet registered, and a comprehensible communication of the same and their origin, as well as their purpose and the procedure of processing and the logic applied in case of processing performed by means of electronic devices; obtain the cancellation, the transformation into anonymous form and the block of the data whose conservation is not necessary to the purposes of data being collected and treated; obtaining the update, amendment and integration of its own data; opposing, partially or totally, to the processing of the data concerning its identity , even if concerning the collection’s purpose.
